Valley Living celebrates the unique people, places, culture, organizations, projects, ideas and history of the San Fernando Valley. It aims to inform and inspire people to get off their screens, into local spaces, and ultimately build social and economic resilience together. With roots in the best parts of the past while still meeting the moment, it seeks to build a viable pro-social alternative to extractive tech and media monopolies that have left many of us feeling precarious, anxious, isolated, and powerless.

Valley Living reimagines what “lifestyle” means, with less emphasis on high-end consumerism and more focus on community-based endeavors and activities – but with sophistication, resonance and humor.
